The tranqulity bars are making their way from our small Canadian farm to many locations in Canada but most recently to the United States, and I cannot be more pleased!
We are raising funds that will go to such great use!

I have been asked many questions and over the next few weeks I will try to answer them all.

First I guess the name of our bar – amazing comments about loving the name, and we are delighted!

We wanted something to reflect serenity, and tranquility encompasses so many more feelings that wholistically portray our bar and the scent

The dictionary defines Tranquility as the following;

1. tranquility - a disposition free from stress or emotion
serenity, placidity, tranquillity, repose, quiet
calm, calmness, composure, equanimity - steadiness of mind under stress; "he accepted their problems with composure and she with equanimity"
ataraxia - peace of mind

2. tranquility - an untroubled state; free from disturbances
tranquillity, quiet order - established customary state (especially of society); "order ruled in the streets"; "law and order"

3. tranquility - a state of peace and quiet
quietude, tranquillity, quietness
calmness - a feeling of calm; an absence of agitation or excitement
peace of mind, ataraxis, peacefulness, repose, serenity, peace, heartsease - the absence of mental stress or anxiety
easiness, relaxation - a feeling of refreshing tranquility and an absence of tension or worry; "the easiness we feel when sleeping"


What I have learned from our family challenge, is that everyone deals with upset from many outside influences, but having some Tranquility in our life gives us strength to march right through it. I find tranquility in a warm bath, nicely scented bar, which allows me calmness and serenity from the day to day hustles of life – even if for just 15 minutes!
